In case you are cheese lover (or in any other case) we strongly suggest to order domestic cheese with truffles as an appetizer (ask for the wine which goes best together). If you are more a sweet tooth person ask for a dessert which includes famous Voglar's marmalade, jam or honey!
Gostilna Prinovec is a well known restaurant with its tradition dating back for more than 40 years. Placed in a tranquil area, just a stone's throw from Šmarješke Toplice spa resort it presents a superb location to enjoy traditional yet standard cuisine.
The main chef and the owner Zdravko has been running the restaurant for more than a year with the intention to boast the local culinary service. To reach the goal his menu is full of standard dishes while complemented with traditional cuisine prepared on a modern yet sophisticated way using domestic and local ingredients.
According to the chosen dishes Zdravko, who is also a sommelier wine expert, recommends a suitable wine from his domestic collection. He cooperates with best Slovenian wine growers & local food suppliers as he believes Slovenia is a treasury of first class flavours.
