With modern technology they try to discover all the secrets of oak barrels but a great emphasis is given to native varieties. They are particularly proud on their red and white Old Brajda, UP and Kontra.
Ščurek's home is located in sunny Goriška hills not far from Slovene sea side and Italy. Their estate includes vast landscape of vineyards and large wine cellars together with a special part of the cellar where wine tasting is organised for smaller and larger groups.
