Predjama Castle is located close to Slovenia Coast, even closer to the city of Postojna and just stone's throw away from spectacular Postojna Cave. The castle is one of the most picturesque wonders in human history. It stands proudly more than 700 years on 123 m high cliff and it fills a high overhanging rock.
A walk through the Castle is a unique experience. Imaginative set puppets illustrate the life pulse of the former Middle Age Castle and give the visitor an idea of how people once lived and worked in the castle.
Visitors can find impressive objects such as weapons, paintings, furniture which go far in the history and represent the awe of that period. Besides all those items, visitors can visit observation post on the cliff which offers impressive view on the surroundings. Erazem's Tunnel is also a must see when visting Predjama Castle. Erazem was the knight who rebelled against the imperial autocracy in the 15th century. Today Erazme presents main protagoniest of numerous legends.
