Gostilna Zolnir

Gostilna Žolnir has been embraced with love from its beginning as the name comes from the Josip Jurčič love novel where a forestry engineer (žolnir) fall in love in a girl from Kostanjevica. Now, this love is shown through culinary masterpieces prepared by passionate chefs.

Customer preferences and tastes differ from those in 1892 but Gostilna Žolnir maintains to keep Dolenjska region tradition safe. From venison, to fish and vegetarian dishes as well as different home-made specialities prepared on local or international style guests will not leave disappointed.

To make your experience even more local Žolnir can prepare a dinner in their unique but traditional vineyard cottage.
