Caving in Slovenia

Caving is an adventures activity of exploring cave systems. Participants will crawl or walk through magnificent tunnels and halls of Karst, use a rope to find hidden places or jump through streams which are peacefully passing by.

Cave exploring is possible in two caves: Srnica and Mala Boka. Mighty stalagmites, stalactites and pillars will welcome you on almost every step. These two caves are slightly different thus Aktivni Planet staff will suggest you the most suitable one according to your previous experience and wishes.

Srnica – 3 to 4 hour adventure begins near a beautiful stream Gljun. After crawling through tiny tunnels and walking though glorious halls participants arrive to the wall full of fossils where long history make your heart beat faster. On the end, a high adrenaline surprise is waiting.

Mala Boka – Slightly before the highest waterfall in Slovenia participants enter the cave and penetrate deep into the cave. Big acoustic halls, tight rows, simple climbing and a small lake on the end are waiting to be explored. Caving in Mala Boka lasts from 3 to 4 hours.
