Description

Visit a fully furnished kolon farmer’s house dating from the 1850s. Explore the wine cellar, kitchen, and bedroom with a balcony overlooking rolling hills. Watch a 10-minute film showing Brda in the 1960s, accompanied by live commentary from your guide.
Stroll through the narrow alleyways, known locally as gase, and try to spot all remaining fortress towers. While five towers are visible from Šmartno, one tower is not accessible during the tour. Admire the design of local houses, including their gently sloped roofs and geometric patterns beneath them.
