This approximately 2-hour walking tour covers around 4.5 km with some uphill sections, starting on a dirt road. The route passes through less frequented areas that showcase Ljubljana’s landscapes and historical sites.
The tour begins with a brief introduction at Congress Square, then continues to Emona Ljubljana and French Revolution Square, moves toward the Hercules Fountain, and ascends to Ljubljana Castle via Vingnetto. The return route goes by the Town Hall and ends at Preseren Square.
Along the way, the guide shares lesser-known facts and unpublished details about the city. Participants should wear hiking shoes and be prepared for moderate walking.
