Description

Pick up a unique new skill in this private workshop with a master printmaker. You’ll learn about the history, equipment, and techniques of printmaking, before crafting your own designs to take home a personal piece as a souvenir. Your instructor will tell you about the old-fashioned equipment, explain all the steps involved in making a book from scratch, then guide you through the process of printing your own poster or front cover of a pocket notebook.  You’ll learn how to prepare printing ink and come to understand how a simple printing press works. Become a paper-feeding assistant, printmaker, and quality supervisor all in the space of one workshop. As a memento of this unique activity, you’ll be able to take your finished product home.
