Description

Start with a scenic drive into the Julian Alps where your guide shares stories and insights about the region’s history and nature.

Stop at Lake Bled, known for its fairytale island and the 11th-century Bled Castle, the oldest castle in Slovenia. From the castle terrace, take in panoramic views of the lake and island. Enjoy a lakeside stroll and optionally ride a traditional wooden pletna boat to the island church, where visitors can ring the wishing bell.

Before leaving Bled, try the local Bled cream cake (kremšnita), a popular dessert since 1953.

Continue to Triglav National Park, Slovenia’s largest protected area and home to the country's highest peak. Visit Lake Bohinj, the deepest and largest permanent lake in Slovenia, with a peaceful alpine atmosphere. Walk along the lakeshore and absorb the natural beauty and mountain reflections in the clear water.
