Description
The tour starts at the Natour Bled office. After approximately one hour's drive, you reach the Italian border and shortly after visit Laghi di Fusine, two glacial lakes with clear waters surrounded by mountains.
Returning to Slovenia, the first stop is Planica Nordic Center to view one of the world's largest ski jumps. Next, explore Zelenci, a nature reserve and source of the Sava River, known for its vivid green lake and unique flora and fauna.
The tour continues to Lake Jasna in Kranjska Gora, offering views of dense forests and the Julian Alps’ snowy peaks. Next is Vrata Valley in the core of Triglav National Park to see Peričnik Waterfall. When conditions permit, you can hike behind the 52-meter cascade for an intimate perspective.
After a brief swim at a hidden lake, the journey proceeds through Radovna Valley, where you can observe wildflowers on the pasturelands.
The tour includes a 1.6 km walk through Vintgar Gorge along wooden boardwalks beside emerald waters and towering cliffs, leading to the Šum Waterfall.
The day concludes at Natour Bar, located in a traditional open barn setting. Here, taste Štruklji, a classic Slovenian rolled dough dish with various fillings, alongside craft beer or fresh apple juice. The tour ends with a scenic drive back to Lake Bled.
