Description

Depart from your Bled hotel and drive two hours to the abandoned mine. Descend 15 minutes into the mine on an original vintage mining train. The tour includes a hike and the climb of steep stairs reaching 95 meters below the surface.

Once at the underground water level, paddle in a sit-on-top kayak through narrow passages and galleries. Spend about one hour kayaking within the four-hour underground visit, combining hiking and paddling activities. Illuminate your route using provided glowing headlamps, the only light source inside the mine. All necessary gear including dry suits, boots, life vests, helmets, and lights are supplied.

The full tour lasts approximately eight hours and returns you to your Bled hotel. Morning departures vary between 5:40 AM and 7:45 AM depending on availability; you will be informed of your exact departure time before the tour day.

Important Information

• The mine temperature remains a constant 10°C.
• Bring your passport or EU-issued personal ID.
• Tours depart from Bled at 5:40 AM or 7:45 AM, depending on availability.
• Participants must be at least 150 cm tall with a maximum shoe size of EU 47.
• No pets allowed.
• Expect moderate walking and stair climbing; uneven surfaces and stairs make this tour unsuitable for those with walking disabilities or wheelchair users.
• Refunds are not provided for weather-related cancellations or personal reasons.
• The transfer route includes mountain roads; take precautions if prone to motion sickness.
• A minimum of 6 guests is required for the tour to operate.
• Late arrivals of 10 minutes or more will result in the tour proceeding without the guest; no refunds will be issued.
• Not recommended for participants with back problems, heart conditions, pregnancy, claustrophobia, fear of heights, or other serious medical issues.
