On May 1st 2009 Diners Club Ljubljana elite golf course in the immediate vicinity of the Ljubljana airport has been opened. The course is located in the village of Smlednik under the Šmarna Gora.

The course is located in the village of Smlednik under the Šmarna Gora hill, at a distance of slightly less than 10 kilometers from the Ljubljana city center as well as the central Slovenian airport.

18-hole course is well maintained and tidy. It boasts six par three, six par four and six par five holes. Most of the holes are surrounded by forest. The course is characterized by wide, diverse and fast greens.
