Description
Begin your adventure with a drive from Ljubljana to Velika Planina, the largest highland pasture in Slovenia, set high above the Kamnik–Savinja Alps. Enjoy a guided hike across the plateau, walking among traditional herdsmen’s huts while surrounded by panoramic views of the Alps and the Ljubljana Basin. The pace and route are always adapted to the group.
After exploring the plateau and tasting local mountain food, descend and continue through the scenic Savinja Valley to the stunning Logar Valley, one of Europe’s most beautiful alpine valleys. At the end of the valley, take an easy walk to the impressive Rinka Waterfall, where nature feels truly untouched.
This experience is about space, silence, and authentic alpine landscapes — far from mass tourism. Group size is limited to a maximum of 4 guests to ensure a personal, flexible, and high-quality experience. Larger groups are possible as private tours.
