Tour Description
Via ferrata combines hiking and climbing by scaling a cliff face while clipped to a steel safety cable. No rope skills or climbing experience are necessary; just follow the guide wearing the provided gear.
This family-focused route features a proper summit and panoramic views without difficult or long approach hikes that might discourage beginners.
What to Expect
Pickup is directly from your hotel in Bled, followed by a 30-minute drive to the route start. Your certified guide will fit your harness, helmet, gloves, and via ferrata lanyard, and explain the safety system.
A short 5-minute hike leads to the cliff base. The climb lasts 1.5–2 hours at a relaxed pace with breaks for photos and water. The guide remains close throughout.
At the summit, enjoy a 15-minute break to take in the alpine valley and Julian Alps views. The descent is on a hiking path, no climbing needed. You return to your hotel by van.
