The House of Tradition Slamar is a georgeous homestead built in 1857, located in the centre of the breathtaking Bloke plateau. You may explore this magnificant area of of tranquility and unspoilt nature above Cerknica Lake on foot, by bike or on the horseback. The house has preserved the ski equipment used by Slovenia’s first skiers, who came from the Bloke region. The skiers were first mentioned by Janez Vajkard Valvasor in 1689.
