Experience Lake Bled from a paddle board, avoiding queues for the traditional Pletna boat. Glide silently across the emerald water with Bled Castle towering above and the island drawing nearer with each paddle stroke.
Your certified Bananaway guide provides a short lesson; most guests feel confident within 20 minutes. Paddle to the lake’s center for Castle views and continue around the island at a relaxed pace. The tour includes balance games, the chance to swim, or simply rest on your board while enjoying the surroundings.
This tour focuses on active, sustainable sightseeing with local stories and practical tips rather than long history lectures. GoPro photos capture your experience and are sent to you after the tour at no extra cost.

Important Information
- Suitable for swimmers of all levels; no paddle experience required
- Children welcome: 12+ may use their own board; younger children can ride on a parent’s board
- Well-behaved dogs allowed on the front of your board
- Private and family tours available on request; all kids can have their own boards
- Tour operates Monday to Saturday, starting at 9 AM
- Minimum of 4 participants required for the tour to run
- Meeting point: Mala Zaka bay car park, marked by the large yellow Bananaway van
- Weather-dependent: paddling occurs in sun or cloud but not in heavy rain or strong wind; full refund if rescheduled or canceled
